Iphone 8 Buy One Get One Free At T

AT&T deals are especially good if you're adding new lines, trading in, or switching carriers. With these offers, you can often save hundreds of dollars of the retail price of a new phone, and sometimes you can even get the phone for free. AT&T might not have quite the coverage Verizon does, but with these discounts and the generally cheaper pricing of its plans, your savings can start to add up.

Apple iPhone 14 & 14 Plus: up to $800 off with trade-in and unlimited plan at AT&T (opens in new tab)AT&T's deals on the iPhone 14 offer the usual trade-in rebate of up to $800 this week - essentially the standard rate offered on the device since launch. While not the most exciting offer, this rebate is in fact enough to get the standard device for free if your old device is valued highly enough. Bear in mind, however, that you will need to be getting a new device on an unlimited data plan to be eligible here. These can be pretty pricey (like $80 per month), so it's definitely worth lining up a trade-in for a respectable discount. See this same deal on the iPhone 14 Plus (opens in new tab).

Samsung Galaxy S23: save up to $800 with a trade-in and unlimited plan at AT&T (opens in new tab)The latest Samsung Galaxy device is here and this week's AT&T deals are offering an incredibly enticing trade-in rebate of up to $800. This saving is enough to get the standard Galaxy S23 for free and it's actually pretty easy to get the full rebate right now (the trade-in conditions are very generous. As always, however, you will need to pair this deal up with an unlimited data plan to be eligible for a saving. See this same deal on the Galaxy S23 Plus (opens in new tab).

If you haven't found the AT&T deals you're looking for this week, feel free to bookmark this page and return next week. Alternatively, check out our Verizon deals page for all the latest offers on AT&T's main competitor.

One of the easiest ways of staying on top of the latest releases in mobile gaming is to keep on top of the industry's hottest mobile hardware. Toward that front, there's really no better choice than the iPhone X, Apple's latest handset and the most revolutionary smartphone to release from the company in years. There's a problem, though: at a cost equal to or in excess of $1,000, the iPhone X's lofty price tag has consumers holding out for a time when they can scoop up the new hardware without breaking the bank. Fortunately for them, AT&T is now offering the nation's first opportunity to buy one iPhone X and get the second for free.

A new iPhone 8 is free with trade in of an iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8+ or Samsung Galaxy Note8. You can get this deal when you sign up for an 18-month Sprint Flex lease and wireless plan. Sprint says it regularly charges $29.17 per month for the iPhone 8, but that amount will be credited back to the customer.

AT&T, meantime, has a buy one, get one free offer, with one catch: You must have DirecTV or AT&T U-verse TV service to qualify. AT&T is also offering a $300 or $200 credit when you trade in certain older devices.

At any given time, you can walk into a wireless carrier's retail store or visit its website and see countless free phone promotions. As we just saw with the launch of the iPhone 13 lineup and Apple including carrier deals on its own website, even the iPhone maker is getting more aggressive with supporting carrier smartphone promotions.

One question always comes up with promotions like this: Are free smartphones really free? Let's take a closer look at what's often required by carriers in order to qualify for a promotion, and in most cases, what that ends up costing you.

Trading in your current phone is a key part of nearly every free smartphone deal. But not all phones are treated equally when it comes to overall value. It makes sense that a Samsung Galaxy S10 doesn't hold the same value as a Galaxy S21 Ultra.

But that's one of the "gotchas" with the current landscape of smartphone promotions. The free-phone-deals are advertised as a best case scenario. Meaning, with a trade-in that brings in the maximum value.

AT&T's current promotions allow you to sign up for any unlimited plan, with prices starting at $75 per month for a single line. T-Mobile currently has a promotion for a free iPhone 13 Pro with an eligible trade-in, and when you sign up for its $85 per month Magenta Max plan.

If you meet the trade-in and unlimited plan requirements, the final aspect of most free phone promotions is that the cost of the device is credited to your account over a set amount of time. For example, AT&T currently lists the 128GB iPhone 13 as free with a trade-in and unlimited plan. The cost of the iPhone 13 is broken down into monthly payments of $22.23 over the course of 36 months (36 x $22.23 = $800.28).

Carriers often have some sort of promotion that includes two phones. The first you pay for on a monthly payment plan, and the second you get for free when you add a new line of service to your account.

What about if I pay for the X in full, since AMEX Platinum requires this to get the extended warranty, and you use the monthly credit to in essence get the iPhone 8 for free? Does this work or am I missing something?

AT&T has a few different new deals, including a $300 credit if you're trading in an iPhone 7 Plus. Alternately, you can get a $200 credit when trading in some other devices. Go to tradein.att.com or an AT&T store to find out exactly how much your trade-in is worth. The provider also has a buy-one, get-one-free deal on the iPhone 8 if you sign up or already subscribe for the company's DirecTV or U-Verse TV service.
